This was a complete surprise. While in China to adopt our second daughter we stayed at the Howard Johnson's in XIAN. Yes, there is a Howard Johnson's in XIAN - a five Star Hotel. The manager, who was from Plano Texas recommended steaks for dinner, imported from Australia and the Dragon Seal Wine. we had the Chardoney and a red of some type. Both were very good but the Chard was excellant.
